I am Cody Leder. I am learning about all the important aspects of proper weight lifting. The purpose of this blog is to help others and I learn the importance of lifting for a lifetime. Learning technique is key to the safety of the athlete but there are many other factors of lifting that can be applied to make your experience in the gym more beneficial. As we incorporate all the aspects we can into a lifting routine we can be prepared to be a lifetime weight lifter.

Introduction
I am Cody Leder. I am not a lifting enthusiast but I have learned that weight lifting is key to a happy and healthy life. I enjoy spending time at the gym getting a good work out and feel great when I go on a regular basis. Like I said I am not a "pumped-up-vein-popping" lifter but I do understand that lifting can help in many ways. I have created this blog mainly to review some of the aspects of weightlifting that are often missed out on. Most people think that people only lift so they can get "ripped" or that people only lift to train for some sort of event. My hope is that this blog will help you understand that lifting is for everyone. Lifting is beneficial to all people from the office worker, to the grocery bagger, to the marathon runner. Lifting is beneficial to people young and old.
